I love "hole in walls" and this one is top notch. Really good hotdogs, I enjoyed a classic with kraut and mustard. The fries bent when picked up which caused me to expect something soggy, greasy, and lukewarm. But they were hot, fresh, cooked through and through with little crispy edges. They tasted like fresh potatoes. Good. The hotdog had a snappy skin and was delicious. The atmosphere is awesome... Smoke rising off the grill, hot and fragrant. Really kind interesting people. Go there. When you want a dog the only other place comparable is in Chicago.
Absolutely fantastic visit! My dad recommended I stop in, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. I started with a classic Kraut and Mustard dog, but the chef also treated me to a Chino Dog, which was incredible—I already know exactly what I’m ordering next time. I also got to try a bite of my dad's pineapple dog, and that was great, too. Excellent food and service!
Honestly just cant get enough. Especially not being a hot dog person prior, this twist to hot dogs have made it very enjoyable to eat and very fun! We love the atmosphere and although we see lines out the door they are relatively fast!
From the moment we went in we were welcomed. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the amazing smell of the grill that real, smoky barbecue aroma that makes you instantly hungry. You can tell the hot dogs are actually grilled, not just heated up, and it makes such a difference in flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and the whole experience felt authentic and comforting. The owner Chino welcomes everyone as if he knew them for years even if they were not regulars. We ended up leaving with double the hotdogs we wanted 🤗😂Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
"The quest for the perfect glizzy has ended. I can finally rest." - Me This place is a gem. Small, cozy, old school. Cash only and worth it. Art comes in many forms, Chino is an artist at the grill, you can tell he loves it. The vibe inside is relaxed and fun, can't recommend enough. Get the Chino dog, and definitely get a slider with it.
🐐 this place is beyond goated. Chino is like if Bob was actually successful. He’s a regular old mushroom - that is to say he’s a fun guy. Definitely try all the things named after chino - the dog, the fries, etc. If you yourself are a mushroom, or you happen to find yourself there on a Wednesday, chino may offer you some off menu items. He is a wizard of the grill. Do not hesitate. It’s all hot dog based but the creativity is elevated. Iykyk.
Great place. Ordering and waiting in line is like being in a friend or family members kitchen. Tried a little of everything. Dogs and sliders were excellent. The garlic aioli served with the fries was excellent. Sausage and peppers were great as well. Its not just a hotdog shop.
The best hot dogs in my life!❤️ Every bite was a burst of flavor! The atmosphere was fantastic – relaxed, friendly, and full of good vibes. The staff were warm and welcoming, and you can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Chef gave us an extra portion. That was really nice🤗 If you're in the area, you absolutely have to stop by – it's so worth it!
